If the interest is in a specific name then it is best to go to the Names Indexes which show the names of all the individuals who are on source documents, whether they are Bendings, connected to Bendings, or not, as they link to family trees, or for unconnected individuals, to source documents. Persons born after 1930 are excluded from the indexes

Use Google to search for other subjects such as places, street names, occupations, etc. Select 'This site' and enter the word or words and Google takes to page containing the subject, then use browser's Find facility (Explorer - Ctrl+F) to locate word(s), if 'The Web' is then selected the search becomes world-wide
